Friendly and welcoming, large portions. Dogs allowed in bar area.
We've just enjoyed a lunchtime meal & it's a vast improvement from when we last visited. We only live around the corner but have not been back for food for many years after our last experience when we entertained family & friends from America. The whole experience was an embarrassing disaster. This time the food was lovely & well presented. The service was with a smile with much attention to how we were enjoying our meal. The prices were good & we are looking forward to walking around for another meal in the near future as we would like to support our local pub...now we feel we can as this time we had a positive experience & we can see how much effort has been put in improving everything.
Very welcoming, warm and relaxing place with delicious food and great drinks for a great price, best local I've had!
