Disappointing visit on this occasion, the chicken I had with spicy Asian noodles was like rubber, then whilst the rest of the table had received there puds I waited 15 minutes and then asked the waitress. She promptly went off and returned with my order which was a ladle full of rice pudding which was very nice but cold and certainly not worth 4.99. Another guest at the table ordered the ultimate filled Yorkshire pudding, well there was certainly a large Yorkshire pudding but lacked the ultimate filling. Again not worth the money. As i said on this occasion, very disappointing compared to our last visit.

My experience here was really good. There were five of us on a work lunch break. There was a good choice of food and drink. The drinks we ordered were free refill and there was a great offer on food. 2 meals for something like 2 meals for 8. When the food came, it was really nice. I'd definitely go again.

I was rather peeved, after ordering 2 mixed grills along with another meal. I ordered 2 X peppercorn sauces, I don't enjoy steak or grilled chicken without it.. I paid in full, expecting my order to be fulfilled. On being served, I was informed that there was no sauce! I ask why? Then asked if the chef was unable to make it!! He was in fact unable!! Ruined my meal entirelyThe other people had their meals and were happy, so I waited for them to finish and then went to MacDonalds for my lunch, we all had a dessert when we got home!!

Exactly what you would expect from a Brewers Fayre and the staff are great. A good stop off for a meal on the way to the ferry however you may find it best to call ahead or book via the website if you will be sitting down at peak times as it can get very busy. Christmas Eve they put on a breakfast with Father Christmas which was well put together and very popular. The staff were amazing.

Recently visited the Mayflower. Was soon found a table. The staff are always very welcoming. There is no long wait for food from a quite extensive menu. The food itself has never failed to please. Value for money also.
