Ate dinner at Pier at Harwich on 24dec2017. Fantastic food, great menu and service and a glorious gin library.Update 27Dec2018: still fantastic food, beautifully cooked, great views over the harbour, gin library is still glorious. Dessert menu contained a daring choice: baked Camembert on rye toast with honey, for the savoury palates.
I haven't eaten here lately but on a recent trip to Harwich I went two days running for morning Coffee and it was great! Warm, Friendly, Welcoming , Good Coffee, Daily Newspapers! Great!
Great views, delicious food and very good service. Always reliable for good quality. Loved the shipping forecast in the loos!
A short break travelling from Cambridge. Lovely large, clean well equipped room. Fantastic meal in the restaurant and great atmosphere in the bar. A hotel we would visit again just for the experience rather than a place to eat. Great staff. Thoroughly recommended.
