I have attended as an Outpatient and have always received a good service
Hi there i must be one of the few that like the place. I'm original from London so if you think this hospital is bad think again. I go to see my nurse and im well happy with my treatment, maybe people are expecting to much Dr's and nurses are human and so are we. are we becoming like the USA where there's blame there's a claim. We need to get a grip.Went hospital today never knew how many haters there are out there some really sad people who just moan but if they closed the hospital they'll really have something to moan about the system is flawed we all know that too much management not enough work force so instead of moaning at the staff set your sights on the fat cat's with the big wage packets .
Been trying to get an appointment for the last week but every time I call, I get told to call back on a different day because the doctor isnt in! This is a continuous circle Im stuck in and Im not happy about it! Definitely looking into transferring, no wonder people go to A&E instead
There are some rather helpful people at this surgery. Ruth was awesome helping with a last minute prescription request and Karen in the computer team solved my online patient access issues quicker than I could say long welsh station names! Kudos. Dont knock the NHS until to youve lived in countries without a free at point of use service. You dont realise how good it is when used appropriately.
So couldn't get to see the doctor or nurse for my daughter. Then phone 111 and get told she really should see a doctor today. Then 111 email the surgery to say this. Get a phone call to say we will hear from the 'on call' doctor.THE 'ON CALL' DOCTOR, IS MY DAUGHTERS DOCTOR! Staff at the desk seem like you are an inconvenience. You have to justify why you want to see a doctor and they find a way to fob you off. Trying to find ways to be more 'efficient' by making it harder to get an appointment in the first place, thus making their figures look better. Lower waiting times....BECAUSE YOU CANT GET TO SEE ANYONE!I feel for NHS staff as they haven't got the tools for their job.
